Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda artwork featuring the characters Link and Princess Zelda based on their original NES / Famicom designs. Commissioned as a cover art for the book NES Achievements published by Retro Game Books in 2023.
Drawn and inked by hand, then scanned and cleaned up in Photoshop, and finally colored in Clip Studio Paint using my classic anime cel shading style.
Clean artwork. No background was used as the intention was to use the artwork along with logo and possibly text for a magazine / book cover. The idea of mimicking Newtype Magazine cover was discussed during brainstorm sessions.
